JR JUSTICE LEAGUE

Welcome to the Jr Justice League

Hi, my name is Joshua Margison. I'm 13 years old and attend the Pines Senior Public School in Newcastle, Ontario.

The Jr Justice League is kids that support equal parenting. We support equal parenting because we believe that kids should be able to see their mother and father.

My mom and dad divorced when I was only 3 years old.

My mom is National Coordinator for Fathers 4 Justice Canada.

My brother and I have been protesting with Mom since we were 6 & 8 years old.

I asked Mom the other day when I can be a Fathers 4 Justice superhero because I want to help fight for equal parenting rights.

When I was 6 we appeared on the front page of the Christian Week newspaper and I made my own sign for parents that said, "Be nice to each other, share your kids."

Our moms and dads always teach us to share, but when they divorce, they stop sharing us with each other. That's wrong. I need my mom and my dad, and so do you.

Thank goodness my mom and dad decided it was best to share us and my brother and I live half time with mom and half time with dad.

Others are not so lucky and get caught in gangs, do bad at school, maybe do other things they shouldn't because their parents are too busy hating each other, and not busy enough loving their kids.

This page will have all kinds of stuff for divorced kids.

Children of Divorce Speak Out

Shellee Darnell

1. We love and need both of you.

2. We are not your messengers. If you have something to say to my other parent, tell them yourself.

3. We know you are hurting, scared and upset. So are we!

4. We know you are probably doing the best you can. So are we!

5. Please don't say bad things about our other parent. It makes us feel really bad.

6. Please don't ask us to choose sides. That's not fair.

7. Don't make us feel we are being disloyal because we enjoy being with our other parent.

8. This may not have been your choice, but remember, it is not our choice either.

9. Please don't tell us details about the divorce that we don't understand or need to know.

10. Please don't make us the "man" or the "lady" of the house. We are just kids. Let us be kids!!!

It felt so good to be able to take part in PAAD and bring awareness to so many issues that children and families have to deal with. It makes me sad to hear the stories from the Dads who are not able to see their children or have very limited access to them.

I was very pleased with all the thumbs up and honking that our group received while waving from the 22nd street pedestrian overpass in New Westminster. It's a great way to make people aware of our problems when children grow up hearing so much hatred from their parents. It's also comes from the extended family's mouths too.

I was ecstatic that my banner got to hang next to Batman on the Johnson Street Bridge along with the political ones. I felt so good to be painting "Save Katy". Just knowing that I was doing something that is going to help myself, the family I never knew and other children in the same situation is something I can't describe.

I am very happy to be helping all the Junior Leaguers out there. Your voices can be heard now, in a safe place to vent. I was given the opportunity to create my own little sub-site off of www.f4jcanada.com and be a part of the Junior Justice League Page.

I am now able to tell whoever will listen about my situation and I don't feel like I'm carrying a huge weight anymore. By sending in your submissions, you can tell people too about how the courts are harming us and inflicting damages that would be beyond repair if it weren't for our Superheroes in (or out) of Tights.
